Manhattan Beach Community Kollel

The Manhattan Beach Community Kollel was established in 2002 by Rabbi Moshe Plutchok with the mission of attracting future leaders of the Jewish nation to Manhattan Beach — to strengthen Torah learning, enrich community life, and inspire the next generation.

The Kollel has succeeded in building a vibrant Torah atmosphere, enhancing every aspect of Jewish religious life, and reinvigorating the community as young bnei Torah and their families have made Manhattan Beach their home.

During the day, Kollel members are deeply engaged in Torah study, preparing to become the future community leaders. Beyond their own learning, they are active throughout the community — offering chosson and kallah classes, night seder programs, weekly shiurim, and chavrusah learning for anyone interested in deepening their understanding of Torah.

If you would like to arrange a personalized study program, please speak with our Rosh Kollel, Rabbi Akiva Eisenstadt, who will be glad to help you find a level and pace of learning that is both comfortable and meaningful for you.
